When you click a product link on AeroInfill that points to Amazon, a tracking cookie is set in your browser. If you make a purchase within the Amazon cookie window (typically 24 hours for direct purchases; 90 days for items added to cart), AeroInfill receives a commission on that purchase.

How This Affects Our Reviews

The question every reader should ask: does affiliate revenue affect which products are recommended? The honest answer is: it can, at sites that allow it to. At AeroInfill, it does not, by the following policies:

• Rankings are based on testing performance, not commission rates. Amazon commission rates vary by product category, and we do not adjust rankings to favour higher-commission products. A $30 filament spool at 3% commission is ranked based on our filament test results, not below a $1,200 printer at 2.5% commission because the printer pays a higher dollar-value commission.
• Products without affiliate links are reviewed and ranked equally. Some products we review do not have affiliate links available — they may not be on Amazon, or may not have an affiliate programme. These products are ranked purely on performance, and their absence of affiliate links is not held against them.
• Negative verdicts are published. Products that performed poorly in our testing receive honest negative assessments even when we carry affiliate links for those products.
• We do not accept payment for coverage or positive ranking. Manufacturers cannot purchase editorial coverage, sponsored rankings, or guaranteed positive reviews on AeroInfill.
• Review samples do not guarantee coverage. Manufacturers may provide products for testing. We are under no obligation to publish a review or to publish positively. Test samples are disclosed in individual reviews where applicable.
